U9's - U9's travelled to play Allenwood on Sat 19 May in the NKL. The lads started a little slow, but they soon kicked into gear and put in a fine display. We tried to focus our play on moving the ball early and making the pitch big. Best on the day were Oisín Kelly and Senan Fisher in another good win in the NKL.

U14's - A great week for Blessington GAA U14 girls. On Tues15 May the blue team were away to Tinahely in Division 1 and put in a superb performance in overcoming a strong Tinahely team. The girls started strongly and our two Sadhbhs took some fine scores to open up a good lead. Tinahely upped their game in the second half but our girls put in a strong defensive game with some great tackling and blocking to keep them at bay. The final score was as follows: Tinahely 0 -3, Blessington 4 - 4.

On Thurs night 17 May our White team played Kilcoole in Div 3 and this was another really strong display from this young and improving team. The girls started strongly with scores from Amy, Jane, Niamh and new girl, Caelainn (playing her first game for the club). All the girls showed great commitment, battling for every ball with strong displays from the backs to keep the Kilcoole score down while further scores from Millie and Aisling added to a winning scoreline. Blesington 2 - 13, Kilcoole 3 - 01. Well done to all the girls this week, they did themselves, their families and their club proud. Training on Tuesday & Thursday next week.
