Well done to Mark and the rest of the Wicklow lads on their victory over Offaly in the opening round of the Leinster Championship. Mark put in a stellar performance, getting important scores when most needed. He will certainly be a welcome addition back to the Gap as the lads have had a few weeks to forget on the field of play suffering defeats to Newtown; Stratford and Barndarrig on the bounce. To be fair there were a lot of injuries and others unavailable also for one reason or the next. Hopefully with these returning, we can get back on track in time for championship. The juveniles hosted an u7's and u9's blitz last week with teams from Shillelagh, Tinahely, and Aughrim all showing their wares. Well done all involved. Off the field, the club would like to thank everyone for their support at our recent race night on May 6th, in particular all who bought and sold horses and our very generous sponsors listed below.
