Div 1- A win for our Seniors v Kiltegan on Fri 20 Apr. 1-07 Blessington 2-12. Scorers - Curtis Geraghty 1-3, Patrick O Connor 1-1, Mick McLoughlin and Mikey O Connor 0-2 each, Gavin Murray, Peter Manning, Kevin John Rodgers and Eddie Boylan 0-1 each. Next up is a home game v Rathnew on Tues 24 Apr at 7.15pm.
Div 3 -Away game v Enniskerry on Sat 21 Apr was postponed due to a death in Enniskerry.
Div 4 - Div 4 football league WS 1 away v Baltinglass at 7pm on Thurs 26 Apr.
Minors - Next up is away to Pearse Gaels on Mon 23 Apr at 7.15pm.
Feile Peil na nOg - On Fri 20 the U14's had two good wins in Feile B against St Kevin's and St Nicks 2 in Donard. Great performances all round to get into the semi-finals. On Sat 21 Apr, 22 U14's (including all 15 of the 2004 lads) travelled to Ballinakill to play AGB in what was a very good game. Blessington were up at half time on a score line of 1-04 to 1-01. AGB finished stronger with a couple of goals to get to go on and win the final well. Fantastic effort by all the lads with the lads showing a huge improvement since last year.
U14/U15's - Training this week Wed 7pm and Sat 6pm. On Tue 17 Apr the U15's kicked off the first game of the Div1 Wicklow league with a good win against Baltinglass, Baltinglass had a good start but the lads worked hard to get on top in the first half. A competitive game with Blessington coming away with a 7-06 to 2-08 win in a game that was far more competitive than the score line would suggest. A great squad turnout with 24 players coming to the game. Wishing Luke and Daniel a speedy recovery from injuries. Next game at home V Rathnew on the 2 May.
U13's - At home v Baltinglass on Mon 23 Apr at 7.15pm.
U12's - Next up is a home game v Raheens 1 on Sat 28 Apr at 4.30pm.
U11's - We finally started our league tonight Wed 18 Apr. Two squads played tonight which involved 27 players. Our third squad had a Bye and trained tonight. Blue squad were away to Rathnew red. All players played extremely well and came away with win after a tough battle. White squad played Baltinglass 1 at home and came up short on the night but played really well with some 2008 kids (u10) making their debut in U11 Wicklow league. Well done all coaches. U11's also fielded a team in the NKL v Leixlip on Sat 22 Apr losing by a few scores unfortunately. Thanks to all parents who travelled to the games.
U10's - Away v Ardclough at 3.30pm on Sat 28 Apr.
U8's - U9's played Clane in NKL in a super game of football in Sat 21 Apr. With a few of our regulars away the lads really stepped up in 3rd and 4th quarter against a strong Clane side with fantastic football being played from both sides. A feature of the game was the strong tackling from both teams. Super performance lads. U9's also had Go Games in Kiltegan on Sat 21 Apr. A lot of the older U9's away and unavailable the younger U8's put in some super performance's against Kiltegan, Carnew and Shilleagh. Well done to all. Next up is an away game U8's White v Edenderry at 2.30pm and U8's Blue v Allenwood at 2.30pm on Sat 28 Apr.
U7's - We had a busy day which started in Kiltegan on Sat 21 Apr where we played Carnew, Shillelagh and Kiltegan. Draw in the first game and winning the other 2. A great effort by all players and a big thank you to Kiltegan for refreshments. Then it was back home to play St Kevin's in NKL at 2.30pm and produced a great team performance with some great tackling and passing. A big thank you to all parents as it was a long day but well worth it.
County Ladies - Wicklow 7-13 Antrim 0-08. The ladies march on to the Final v Louth on Bank Holiday Mon 7 May. Venue TBC. Well done to the management and team especially our club ladies Kim Connors and Shona O'Connor.
Senior Ladies - Blessington GAA senior ladies beat Erins Isle last night 18/04/18 in the Dublin leagues by a score of 1-22 to 3-10 in a gutsy performance by the whole team in which we got nothing to be fair. They kept their cool in difficult circumstances and didn't get involved and hit some brilliant scores. The score line should have been a lot higher as we created chance after chance with some brilliant fast football. There were some brilliant performances all over the pitch again tonight in Roisin Ellis, Laura Allen, Erin King, Anna Vas and Niamh Cullen to name a few and especially Molly Cullen who was great tonight with her work on and off the ball. Scorers Roisin Ellis 0-8. Laura Allen 0-5. Molly Cullen 1-2. Anna Vas 0-3. Erin King 0-3.
Niamh Cullen 0-1. Next up for the ladies is an away game v Na Fianna on Wed 25 Apr at 7.30pm.
U14's - U14 Blue v AGB and U14's White away v St Pats at 7pm on Tues 24 Apr for both games. U14 girls blue and white teams at home v Foxrock/Cabinteely at 2pm on Sat 28 Apr.
U12's - Another great win for our Girls U12 Blue Team away tonight v Tinahely. Outstanding performances all round with a winning score of 3-9 to 2-1. Every player worked their socks off but Leah Ricker & Robyn Brennan received joint players of the match for their huge work rate. Sophie O'Driscoll deserves the biggest mention as she scored a hatrick with 3 smashing goals. Scorers Sophie O'D 3-0 Aisling Brennan 0-4 Leila Shannon 0-2 Ella Ricker 0-1 Aibhe King 0-1.
Well done to Blessington GAA's Aisling Brennan from our U12 Girls Team - INTO Wicklow Schools Skills WINNER in Ballinakill on 19 Apr. Next up U21 Blue and White v Sarsfield 1 and Sarsfield 2 at home at 10.30am on Sat 28 Apr.
U8's/U10's - U10 girls had two teams in the Wicklow blitz in Roundwood on Sat 21 Apr. Great performance yet again. There is no stopping these girls winning all their games. They are flying altogether. Well done to all. Next up is a U8/U10 blitz away in Baltinglass on Sat 28 Apr at 10am.

U8's - Our U8's played Leixlip at home on Sun 22 Apr. It was very even for the first 20 minutes but the lads kept the heads down and worked hard. Everybody played really well. Well done all. Training on Thurs night. U8's play away v Naas in the NKL on Tues 1 May at 7pm.
