Old foes Tipperary and Kilkenny will do battle for league honours at Nowlan Park this Sunday. Here's our team of the week from the two semi-finals…
1. Eoin Murphy (Kilkenny)
A long range converted free from Murphy was one of the highlights of the Cats' impressive display against Wexford.
2. Alan Flynn (Tipperary)
Flynn went about his business with the minimum of fuss during Saturday evening's epic extra-time battle.
3. Padraig Walsh (Kilkenny)
Wexford struggled to break down a Kilkenny defence which was superbly marshalled by their full-back.
4. Richie English (Limerick)
English and the Treaty County have enjoyed a profitable league campaign that should stand them in good stead for the championship.
5. Conor Delaney (Kilkenny)
Delaney was tasked with the job of curbing Lee Chin's influence and he didn't let his side down.
6. Cillian Buckley (Kilkenny)
Like Walsh behind him, the Kilkenny captain nipped more than his fair share of Model County attacks in the bud.
7. Padraic Maher (Tipperary)
Maher and his Tipp team-mates will renew their rivalry with the Cats in Sunday's eagerly anticipated decider.
8. Cian Lynch (Limerick)
The Patrickswell player was his usual busy self and hit two late points which helped his side regain parity before the regulation 70 minutes came to a close.
9. Ronan Maher (Tipperary)
A converted line ball from all of 75 yards out was a moment of exceptional skill from Maher.
10. Sean Curran (Tipperary)
Curran contributed three points to his county's cause against the Shannonsiders.
11. TJ Reid (Kilkenny)
The Ballyhale maestro punished Wexford indiscipline with 12 converted frees and also chipped in with three points from play for good measure.
12. John McGrath (Tipperary)
McGrath is in great form at the moment and pick-pocketed Limerick to the tune of five points from play.
13. Seamus Flanagan (Limerick)
The Tipperary defence had its hands full trying to keep tabs on Flanagan who sent over three points.
14. Jason Forde (Tipperary)
Premier boss Michael Ryan was full of praise for Forde after he amassed a personal tally of 2-11 at Semple Stadium on Saturday evening.
15. Rory O'Connor (Wexford)
O'Connor's performance was one of the few positives from a Model County perspective.
