Minors - First game v Michael Dwyers in Baltinglass on Fri 16 Mar at 8pm.

 

U14 & U15 - 9 Aside Astro League finals played on 11 Mar. Ballymore had a narrow win against Eadestown in the 1st and 2nd team play off. Blessington Blue team had very competitive against St.Kevin's. Blessington winning on a narrow margin. Blessington white team had a walk over V Kill but played Blessington Blue team and came away with a good win. Big thanks to Eadestown, Ballymore, St Kevin's and Kill for making it a very enjoyable and competitive number of weeks. 

 

U14 and U15 parents meeting on is on Wed. 14th at 8pm. U15 Cross-border league Semi-final and Final Mon Mar 19t. Venue TBC

Easter Camp 18 - Blessington GAA Easter Camp will run on Mon 26 & Tue 27 Mar 2018. Last year was again a huge success with our highest attendance to date - 207 kids attended. THIS YEAR ALL KIDS WILL RECEIVE TOP OF THE RANGE CRESTED GLOVES. Forms will be dropped into schools before Midterm break.. REGISTER EARLY IS THE ADVICE!! Coach training - Early Teenage Workshop for Under 13 Coaches will take place tomorrow night 12th March in Baltinglass GAA Grounds at 7.30pm for Under 13 Football coaches in your club.

 

Club coaching officer training - Workshop moved to Wed 14 Mar at 7.30pm in Ballinakill.

Scór Sinsear - Our two reps for the club did very well in the Scor Sinsear Leinster Final today in the Helix. Unfortunately, they alongside the ballad group from AGB did not progress to the final. On behalf of the club we wish to thank Chris Walsh and Sheila Naughton for representing Blessington GAA.

Naas CBS - Congrats and well done to Naas CBS who won the Leinster Senior A Final tomorrow in Tullamore on Sat 10 Mar v Marist College. What a great achievement for our club lads Jordan Mcgarr, Ethan Cotter and Conall O'Gallchobhair. They now take on Connacht champions Rice College in the Hogan Cup semi-final which is pencilled in for March 24th.

 

Condolences - Blessington GAA wish to pass on condolences to the family of Pat Kelly, Lisheen who along with Jimmy Callaghan looked after a generation of Blessington and Kilbride footballers during the juvenile years of his son Mark. Condolences also to the family of Seamus Byrne, Knockerin whose sons were with the club in their juvenile years. Both true gentlemen. Ar dheis De go raibh a h'anamacha dilis.
