FL top scorers: Walsh ahead, but only just

Laois ace Gary Walsh is the narrow leader in the 2018 Allianz Football League scoring charts after two rounds.

The Ballylinan clubman claimed the highest individual score of the week when hitting 1-8 in Sunday's Division 4 win over Leitrim to bring his overall tally to 2-14. He is just one point ahead of Donegal star Paddy McBrearty who has a total of 0-19.

London's Liam Gavaghan and Paul Broderick of Carlow are next in line with 2-11 and 1-12, respectively.

In the goalscoring charts, ten players are on two including Tipperary full-forward line trio Conor Sweeney, Liam McGrath and Michael Quinlivan.
