There was no shortage of standout individual performances in round 2 of the Allianz hurling leagues...
1. Stephen O'Keeffe (Waterford)
Waterford's margin of defeat against Tipperary would have been greater were it not for a couple of top class interventions from their number one.
2. Paddy Smyth (Dublin)
The Clontarf clubman produced a rock solid performance in the Dublin defence as Pat Gilroy's side came away from Antrim with a hard-earned win.
3. Liam Ryan (Wexford)
Winning is becoming something of a habit for full-back Ryan and his Model County team-mates.
4. Tomas Hamill (Tipperary)
The Premier County are up-and-running in Division 1A following their nine point success over the Deise on Saturday night.
5. Diarmuid Byrnes (Limerick)
Half-back Byrnes popped up with two points as the Treaty County inflicted a 17-point defeat on hosts Offaly.
6. David McInerney (Clare)
McInerney and his Banner County team-mates added Kilkenny's scalp to that of Tipperary's from the opening weekend.
7. Aidan Harte (Galway)
For the second week running, the All-Ireland champions weren't firing on all cylinders but they did enough to see off Laois.
8. Kevin Foley (Wexford)
Midfielder Foley sent over three points in the Model County's 0-21 to 1-14 success over Cork at Wexford Park.
9. Cian Lynch (Limerick)
Along with his midfield partner Paul Browne, Lynch comfortably won the midfield exchanges with Offaly in Tullamore.
10. Noel McGrath (Tipperary)
McGrath walked away with the 'man-of-the-match' accolade following the Premier County's 1-20 to 1-11 success over Waterford.
11. Lee Chin (Wexford)
Chin's aerial prowess and point-taking were vital ingredients in Wexford's four point win over the Rebels.
12. David Reidy (Clare)
Reidy continued his rich vein of scoring form when pick-pocketing the Cats to the tune of 1-3 in Nowlan Park.
13. Neil McManus (Antrim)
McManus posted an individual return of 0-16 but again it was a case of so near and yet so far for the Saffrons.
14. Jason Forde (Tipperary)
Forde took the scoring honours for Michael Ryan's charges with 1-9 against the Deise.
15. Ross King (Laois)
The O'Moore County captain raised 12 white flags against the Tribesmen but his efforts proved to be in vain.
