Seniors Dunne Cup Final- Our seniors face the winners of St Pats v Rathnew game which will be on Tues 5 Dec in Roundwood. The Dunne Cup final will be held in Bray on Fri 8th Dec at 7.45pm. It's been a long year and it would be great to end it on a positive note.

 

AGM - Blessington GAA AGM took place in the Baile Coimin Centre on Thurs 30 Nov.  The meeting was attended by a good crowd, President John Coogan welcomed everyone and John Williamson Chairman gave a summary on his first year at the helm. We look forward to a great 2018.

 

Mass - Mass for deceased members of Blessington GAA will be held Fri 8 Dec at 8pm.

 

U7 and U9 Presentation night - A big night for our U7's and U9's when they will be presented with their awards for the year which will he held on Mon 4 December 2017 in St Joseph's Hall at 7pm.

Congratulations - Well done To Patrick O'Connor - Carlow IT/Blessington GAA and Sarah (Molly) Cullen UCD/Blessington GAA who were presented with Bursaries to Third Level students by Leinster GAA on 28 Nov 2017. Leinster GAA Chairman, Jim Bolger, presented 39 third level students with a GAA bursary at a presentation ceremony in Áras Laighean, Portlaoise. Since the scheme was initiated over ten years ago, approximately 800 students have received a bursary towards their studies through Leinster GAA. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Bolger complimented all the recipients and their families. "We congratulate each and every one of you, and wish you well in both your studies and your sporting careers," he said.

Scór na n-Óg Leinster semis - Sun 10 Dec in Oulart, Co Wexford. Our solo singer is Ella Ní Chathán, our instrumental group comprises of Finn Behan, Oscar Higgins, Ben Higgins, Cormac O'Loughlin and Charlie Tivnan.

Drama group comprises of Sara Nugent, Tara Carey, Fern Kavanagh, Holly O'Reilly, Mark Sargent and Emma Doherty. We would like to wish them all the best in the semis.
