Glavin likes one game at a time mantra

Moorefield manager Ross Glavin is a firm believer in the old sports phrase of 'taking it one game at a time'.

That thought process has saw them win the Kildare county title and reach the Leinster club semi-final where they face Rathnew in Aughrim on Sunday afternoon.

The Kildare champions are favourites to lift the provincial title with Rathnew being the outsiders of the four remaining teams, but the Wicklow side have already beaten Dublin kingpins St Vincent's at home and they will be confident of repeating that feat against Moorefield.

That is why Glavin is not looking beyond Sunday's clash as he admitted to the Leinster Leader that it was a tough prospect they now must face.

"We'll take it one game at a time; never have looked beyond that next game all season and that is exactly what we will be doing this week as we look ahead to Aughrim."
