Seniors - Blessington beat Baltinglass on Sat 18 Nov at home in the Dunne Cup Semi-finals on a score line of 2-12 to 0-11. Final will probably take place in the New Year.

 

AGM - Blessington GAA AGM will take place in the Baile Coimin Centre on Thurs 30 Nov at 8pm. If you are a current member or not, please attend if you want to know or be part of the plans going forward for the club for 2018 and beyond. #blesso2018

Juvenile coaches meeting - Juvenile coaches meeting in clubhouse Tues 28th Nov 9pm. This is for anyone who was involved in any way this year and can be involved next year and for anyone who is willing to get involved for first time (spread the word). Anyone who does not want to coach but willing to look after team admin also welcome to attend (sending team texts etc). We hope to agree 2018 management and coaches for each group on the night and figure out who needs training.

GAA Club Race Day - Our annual race day was held on Sun 19 Nov at Punchestown Race Course. This is always a terrific family day out with face painting by Jade Walsh keeping all the young ones happy. Plenty of excitement for the adults on the racetrack. Thanks to Jessica Harrington who gave some great tips. Thanks to all who sold tickets, Breda for updating the database of tickets, Michael O'Leary, Gerry Hennessy, Helen Hennessy and Martin Shannon who kept everything ticking over on the day. Thanks to Chair John Williamson and Juvenile Chair Kevin Gilmore who thanked everyone for their help in making this a great fundraiser for the club: our main sponsor Dunnes Stores, Brophy Brothers Building Services who sponsored our big race, sponsors of vouchers, ticket sellers, Punchestown Race course etc. All funds raised in any of our fundraisers will be used in the future development of the club.

Girls Presentation Night - Girls Annual Presentation Night Wed 22nd Nov at 7pm in the Community College. Awards from U7 up to U16 will be presented on the night. Our Special Guests will be some of the All Ireland Winning Dublin Ladies Team with their manager Mick Bohan. There will be a raffle on the night with some brilliant prizes. A brilliant night in store to reflect on a great year for our girls' teams!

 

Boys presentation night -  For U11 to U17 groups inclusive will be held in St Kevin's hall on Sat 25 Nov at 7pm. Young footballer of the year, Con O'Callaghan will be there to present awards.

 

U7 and U9 Presentation night - Will he held on Mon 4 December 2017 in St Joseph's Hall at 7pm.
