Juvenile Presentation - U12 - U17's. Sat 25 Nov. Time and venue TBC. Date still to be confirmed for the younger players.

U11's - We had a very busy end to the season this weekend when we played in the Ray Daniels Cup final and the Allen Cup final. On Fri 10 Nov in Baltinglass, one of our U11 teams mainly made up of U10 lads but captained by Ben Carroll Daniels won the Ray Daniels Cup. In a terrific match against Michael Dwyers which went to extra time we managed to get a deserved win in the end to bring the cup home to Blessington.

On Sun 12 Nov our other team faced Dunlavin in the Allen Cup and unfortunately we didn't really play to our full potential against a very good home team. We had a lot of possession but couldn't get the scores with a lot of goal line scrambles which didn't go our way. Nevertheless, it was a good season and the first time Blessington have won the Ray Daniels Cup and the first time we've reached the Allen Cup final in 5 years. We all went back to the clubhouse for an end of season party and everyone was in good spirits and the parents thanked coaches for work throughout the year.

U12's/U13's - U12's and U13's finished of the year this week.

U12's - The U12's played Raheens in Hawkfield in the NKL Shield final. It was a very competitive game throughout in wet windy weather. A very even game Blessington were denied two late goal chances by good Raheens keeping.  The score at the end Blessington 2-05 to Raheens 3-07.

U13's - The lads played Eire Og in the Div 1 Shield semi-final in Roundwood on Mon 6 Nov. Blessington were 4 points down at the break but a Blessington goal in the 2nd half put 1 point between the teams. Eire Og scored 2 late goals which put them through to the final.

Well done to all the lads this year, training finished for the next few weeks will resume early January.
