Defending champions Oulart-The Ballagh are many people's favourites to retain their county title as they prepare for this weekend's quarterfinals.

They face a Shelmaliers side for who many of their players were out in the senior football championship last weekend and this surely gives Oulart the advantage.

Oulart have an injury concern over defender Shaun Murphy who is struggling to shake off a calf injury, but they should still have enough strength to go through.

Rathnure and Rapparees go head to head in what could be the tie of the round with both games forming an intriguing double header at Innovate Wexford Park.

Two surprise packets in this year's championship, Oylegate-Glenbrien and Naomh Eanna clash for a place in the last four, while the last quarterfinal sees St Martin's take on Buffers Alley.
