The draws for the 2017 Wexford football and hurling championships have thrown up some intriguing contests.
The draws took place on Saturday and one fixture that stands out straight away is the Group B opener in the SHC which pits holders Oulart-The Ballagh against St Martin's.
Meanwhile, in an unlikely twist of fate, all five clubs from the New Ross district have been placed together in the same section of the SFC.
Here are the first round fixtures:
SHC Group A: Glynn-Barntown V Buffers Alley; Oylegate-Glenbrien V Shelmaliers; Cloughbawn V Rathnure. SHC Group B: Ferns St Aidan's V Naomh Eanna; Rapparees V Faythe Harriers; Oulart-The Ballagh V St Martin's.
SFC Group A: Castletown V Sarsfields; Shelmaliers V Starlights; Glynn Barntown V St Anne's. SFC Group B: St Martin's V Taghmon-Camross; Fethard V St James; Gusserane V Horeswood.
