Attractive double header in Wexford Park

October 07, 2015

This Sunday sees the Wexford senior hurling championship semi-finals take place at Innovate Wexford Park.

There are two intriguing ties in store for hurling fans as Oulart-The Ballagh remain on course to regain the title that they lost last year.

They face Faythe Harriers in their semi-final and although the Harriers have been in good form throughout the campaign, Oulart look to be improving with each game that passes.

The second semi-final looks set to be a lot close as St Martin's take on Glynn-Barntown. Ironically, both sides are still in the hunt for a hurling/football double.

St Martin's are in the SFC decider, while Glynn-Barntown are competing in the intermediate football championship final.

The saints are slight favourites to advance to the final and the return of Daithi Waters and Jake Firman from suspension will only strengthen their cause.
