Clubs lose appeals

September 23, 2015

Three players handed suspensions following the fallout from the SHC clash between St Martin's and Cloughbawn have had their appeals turned down.

St Martin's duo Stephen Murphy and Daithi Waters were handed two-match bans after their sending-offs, while Cloughbawn pair Johnny Cullen and Barry Kehoe were handed the same bans.

St Martin's only appealed the Waters ban, while Cloughbawn appealed both their players, with Waters suspension being reduced to one game.

The county player will now miss their quarterfinal clash against defending champions Shelmaliers this weekend.
