The promotion and relegation issues, as well as the line-up for next weekend's Allianz Football League Division 1 semi-finals, were decided this afternoon.

The big story in Division 1 was Tyrone's relegation following their 0-17 to 1-14 draw with Kerry. They will be joined in Division 2 next year by neighbours Derry who bade farewell to the top flight with a first win of the campaign against a Cork side that was already assured of a semi-final spot.

The Rebels' semi-final opponents will be Donegal, whose draw with Mayo saw them edge out the Westerners for the final last four place on points difference. The other semi-final will see Dublin and Monaghan meet for the second weekend in-a-row.

Down and Roscommon are promoted from Division 2 following their respective victories over Laois and Westmeath. The Rossies finished in joint second spot with Meath, but are promoted on the head-to-head rule, and can now look forward to a divisional final against the Mourne County on April 26. Going down are Westmeath and Kildare, who are both relegated for the second year running.

With Fermanagh and Armagh already promoted in Division 3, all eyes were on the games involving the teams at the foot of the table. Louth's home defeat to Limerick sees them make the drop to the basement division along with Wexford who go down, despite beating Tipperary.

The Division 4 final will be contested by Longford and Offaly after the latter claimed the second promotion place by virtue of their 1-13 to 1-7 win over Antrim.

The Division 3 and 4 finals are expected to be played as a double-header at Croke Park on Saturday, April 25. The CCCC will confirm dates, times and venues later today.
