Leinster PP Schools SF: Edenderry and Good Counsel for final

St. Mary's, Edenderry and Good Counsel, New Ross will contest the Leinster PP Schools SF 'A' final following their respective semi-final wins today.

At Crettyard, Alan Kearney's second half goal sealed a 1-10 to 0-8 win for Edenderry over Patrician, Newbridge. The Offaly school, who were champions in 2009 and 2012, led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break, with Adam Mahon, Jack Robinson and Sam Doran scoring two points apiece.

In other semi-final at Portarlington, Good Counsel overcame traditional giants St. Mel's of Longford on a 0-10 to 0-6 scoreline.
