Wexford clubs who do not line their squads out to that named in programmes are to face a fine of €400.
Last year, a programme was produced for all senior hurling and football matches in the county, but more often than not, teams would not line out in their correct numbers.
And this has become a source of some frustration, not only for the county board, but for supporters and indeed the media.
The Public Relations Committee has proposed that the fine be introduced and it will be implemented this year, so clubs would be advised to line their teams out accordingly.
