Wexford will have to plan without defender Graham Molloy for the opening two rounds of the NFL as he continues his recovery from injury.
The 2014 Wexford captain had a knee operation in November for a long standing problem, and although he is making good progress in his recovery, the opening two rounds will have come too soon.
Wexford face Clare away on February 1st, while the following Sunday, they entertain Armagh at Wexford Park, but manager David Power confirmed to the Wexford People that the influential defender will be absent for both those games.
"Graeme is definitely out of the opening two games," said Power. "The third game away to Louth has been pencilled in for his return to the team.
"Hopefully, his rehab continues to go well. Should there be no setbacks he should be back fro Louth on Sunday, March 1st."
