Wexford county chairman Diarmuid Devereux has informed delegates that the Ferns Centre of Excellence should be ready for the hosting of the 2015 Feile na nOg.

The next phase of the development is well underway as work the dressingrooms, and other facilities are coming along nicely.

"We have nailed our colours to the mast as being a dual county so it's very important that we promote football along with hurling," said Devereux through the Wexford People.

"We have made considerable progress with hurling. Now that we are back in the top five in hurling, it's our duty to continue promoting football to bring it back to a top level.

"We are hosting Feile Peil na nOg for the first time. It's a great honour. It's something that we need to have the support of the full county board for."
