Lawler's double down on Alley Poker Classic

The Buffers Alley Poker Classic will be on Saturday 27th December at 8pm in the new clubhouse. Lawler's Take Away and Pizzeria are the title sponsors again this year. Last year the total prize money cleared €1700 which made it the biggest purse of any poker classic in Wexford last year. Over 100 card sharks played last year and we would like to thank all the players for their continued support. There is a guaranteed prize fund of €1000.
Tickets, priced at €20 are now on sale from club members. Anyone who buys a ticket can get a €5 discount for any purchase over €25 from Lawler's Take Away and pizzeria. See tickets for details.
There will be refreshments served and the bar will be running promotions for players on the night.
Hammels Centra of Kilmuckridge are kindly sponsoring a Door Prize again this year.
Tommy Farrell was last year's winner and along with all the members of the final table namely Richard Johnson, Cecil Willougby, Thomas Walshe, Doloros Rapple and Johnny Dempsey will receive complimentary admission to this year's classic. Other prize winners were Seán "Bubbles" O'Leary, first poker, Seán Breen, first straight flush and Henry Butler, Door Prize. There was no Royal Flush last year.
