Wexford weren't happy with their allocation of stand tickets for tomorrow's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final versus Limerick in Semple Stadium but all that will be forgotten if Liam Dunne's men can continue on their winning ways.

The Model County are riding high on the crest of a wave following their wins over Clare and Waterford and, as a result, they will travel to Thurles in a confident frame of mind.

"We are an ambitious outfit," said captain and full-back Matthew Hanlon during the week.

"We may be a young side, but we are ambitious. We have shown this in the championship. Perhaps things did not go to plan against Dublin, but we got back together, studied the game and took it from there "

Keith Rossiter is the only injury concern for Liam Dunne while Limerick manager TJ Ryan has gone with the same starting line-up who lost to Cork in the Munster Final.

Ryan has been impressed with Wexford's recent run of form: "They look back to their best but from our point of view it's important that we focus on the job at hand. There's a good prize for the winners, a place in the last four.

"We need to concentrate on our own strengths and going to Thurles might slightly favour us as well. It's important that we bring our A game to the table because that's what will be required."

The Shannonsiders prevailed on a scoreline of 1-22 to 2-13 the last time these two counties met in championship fare back in 2011 and they are fancied to book a semi-final date with Kilkenny.
