Cork and Wexford have five players apiece on our hurling team of the week.

1. Anthony Nash (Cork)

Limerick could find no way past the Kanturk netminder in the Munster decider.

2. Michael Cahill (Tipperary)

As expected, Cahill and Tipperary experienced little difficulty in seeing off the Offaly challenge.

3. Matthew O'Hanlon (Wexford)

The Model County captain kept the Banner County at bay with two rousing catches late on.

4. Keith Rossiter (Wexford)

Another leader in the Wexford jersey, the experienced Rossiter revelled in his free role at the back.

5. Andrew Shore (Wexford)

Shore stood out in both games and manager Liam Dunne will be hoping for more of the same from the Davidstown-Courtnacuddy man against Waterford.

6. Mark Ellis (Cork)

Recovered fully from a knee injury to take his place in the heart of the Rebel County defence and produced a polished performance.

7. Seadna Morey (Clare)

A late call-up to the Clare starting 15 in place of captain Patrick Donnellan, Morey didn't let the side down.

8. Lee Chin (Wexford)

The all-action Chin took the battle to the All-Ireland champions and he contributed two points for good measure.

9. Aidan Walsh (Cork)

Walsh's decision to combine hurling with football this year paid off handsomely in Pairc Ui Chaoimh yesterday.

10. Seamus Harnedy (Cork)

Harnedy feared getting the curly finger but came good in the second-half when pick-pocketing Limerick for 1-2.

11. Patrick Maher (Tipperary)

'Bonner' scored 1-1 against the Faithful County and also played a pivotal role in Seamus Callanan's first-half goal.

12. Conor Lehane (Cork)

The flying half-forward raised five white flags and caused plenty of headaches for the Limerick defence.

13. John Conlon (Clare)

No finger of blame for Clare's exit can be pointed in the direction of Conlon who finished as the Banner's top scorer with 1-5.

14. Seamus Callanan (Tipperary)

The Premier County full-forward showed no mercy when hitting Offaly for 2-10 in O'Moore Park.

15. Jack Guiney (Wexford)

Guiney's 29th minute introduction swung the qualifier clash in the Model County's favour.
