Twelve teams begin their quest to be crowned the Wexford senior football champions this weekend.

The start of the 2014 SFC sees six games down for decision over the course of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

All the teams will fancy their chances of coming out of their respective groups and the action gets underway on Friday night with two games down for decision.

Taghmon will host a double header as Gusserane play St Anne's (7pm) and Sarsfields face St Fintan's (8.30pm).

On Saturday, it's Bellefield's turn to host a double header as Adamstown meet St Martin's (5.30pm) and this is followed by the clash of Horsewood and Castletown at 7pm.

Oylegate hosts the last two games of the weekend as Kilanerin do battle with Fethard (2pm) and Shelmaliers take on Starlights (3.30pm). Tweet
