Former Wexford footballers Kevin O'Grady and Michael Furlong could see action for Davy Fitzgerald's hurlers in tomorrow's Walsh Cup semi-final against Kilkenny.

It's believed the pair have joined the hurling panel after recently quitting the football squad. Last year's captain Furlong reportedly left after a disagreement with new football boss Paul Galvin, with O'Grady and Tiernan Rossiter leaving in solidarity.

Both O'Grady and Furlong are talented dual players and with the hurlers down as many as 16 players for tomorrow's trip to Callan, they are in line to make appearances against Brian Cody's men in what is a dress rehearsal for the Allianz League game between the local rivals on February 15.
