Former Waterford manager Derek McGrath has taken on an advisory role with the Faythe Harriers senior hurlers.

McGrath, who spent five seasons in charge of the Deise men and guided them to a rare All-Ireland final appearance in 2017, will work alongside newly appointed boss Tony ‘Sack’ Walsh at the Wexford town club.

With McGrath already coaching the Laois minor hurlers on a full-time basis, his involvement with the Harriers will be 'limited'.
