Wexford football manager Paul McLoughlin is adopting a wait-and-see approach on the new experimental rules.

Currently putting the finishing touches to their preparations for their O’Byrne Cup opener against Louth this Saturday, the Model County played at challenge against Offaly last weekend.

“The players are adapting but still have some way to go,” McLoughlin told the Wexford People

“With the hand pass the players have already learned to play the foot pass in between the three passed to buy back the three hand passes.

“It may bring more positivity to the game but the big teams will still remain at the top.”
