Kilanerin are just 60 minutes away from winning back-to-back Wexford IFC and SFC titles after ending St. Martin's double dreams with a surprise 2-9 to 0-14 semi-final victory yesterday.

Former All Star Matty Forde gave Kilanerin a dream start with a goal after just two minutes. He won a penalty moments later, only for Niall Hughes to have his effort saved by Luke White. Sean Forde scored a second Kilanerin goal in the 21st minute to help them to a 2-5 to 0-5 interval lead, and they withstood a second half fightback from the Ciaran Lyng-inspired Martin's to hold on for the win.

Kilanerin's opponents in the final on October 14 will be Shelmaliers who ended Starlights' reign with a 2-16 to 0-12 victory. Starlights had full forward Eamonn Furlong red-carded after only 10 minutes and were staring at defeat after goals from AJ Lehane and Craig McCabe propelled the winners to a 2-7 to 0-5 interval lead.
