U-14 Lilliput Gaels  2:08                             St. Mary's Rochfortbridge 0:12

On Saturday 16th September Lilliput Gaels travelled to Tyrellspass to take on St. Mary's Rochfortbridge in the Division 2 championship semi final.  St. Marys started with a strong performance, Lilliput Gaels found themselves behind by 6 points.   However Lilliput Gaels stepped up the pace.  The score at half time left St. Mary's ahead by 6 points Score: 09-03.

In the second half, in very tough weather conditions, Lilliput Gaels came out a stronger side with some very good defending and well taken scores we came back into the game.    Lilliput Gaels pulled away with a win by 2 points in a very close encounter.  it was an excellent game of football despite the poor weather conditions.   We now look forward to the Division 2 final against The Downs.  Date and venue of fixture has yet to be confirmed.

Lilliput Gaels hosted an U6 blitz against Kilbeggan on Friday at 6:30pm on the Astro Turf in Castletown Geoghegan. Well done to everyone involved.
