JFC

We have a busy few days ahead in the JFC with games against Ballynacargy and Multyfarnham on Wednesday, August 23 and Sunday, August 27 respectively. We're also playing host to the IFC clash between Tubberclair and Milltownpass on Tuesday evening. Any help with stewarding would be appreciated.

Ladies football

A disappointing season for our ladies footballers ended with a comprehensive defeat to The Downs in last Thursday night's intermediate championship semi-final at Lakepoint Park.
Thanks to the management of Keith Gorry, Bernie Barrett and Philip Kiernan for their efforts during the year.

All-Ireland ticket draw winners

The draw for tickets to the upcoming All-Ireland hurling and football finals took place last week. The hurling winners were Keith Gorry and Thomas Barrett, while Rory O'Neill and Larry Claffey were the football winners. The tickets must be paid for by the respective winners.

Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp takes place this Tuesday, August 22 and Wednesday, August 23 at St. James' Park from 10am to 2pm. Activities include Gaelic football, handball and rounders. Cost per child (aged five-12) is just €10. Application forms are available from the Centra M6 Service Station, as is the box to leave them in.

All-Ireland champion

Congratulations to Jack Mullins on being crowned All-Ireland Singles U13 Pitch & Putt champion last weekend. A fantastic achievement for the talented young man.

Get well James

The club wishes James Fox a speedy recovery from the facial injury he suffered in our recent JFC game against Ballynacargy.

Lotto

Last week's lucky numbers were 1, 10, 16 and 21. The two draw winners were Enda Fox and Ann Smith. This week's draw will be held in Paddy Ryan's, Horseleap.
