Under 8 Blitz
Clonkill held an Under 8 Blitz in Clonkill GAA Grounds on the 8th of July.
Well done to all involved and many thanks to the teams that travelled and to all the parents who had their young boys so well prepared for this blitz.
A special word of Thanks to Ann Marie Corroon who made sure nobody went hungry.
Well done to the Westmeath Hurlers on a terrific performance against Tipperary.
We travelled to Kinnegad on Friday the 07 July to play Raharney.
Raharney won this game comfortably.
We then played Castletown Geoghegan on the 14th of July in Shandonagh.
We recorded a win against Castletown Geogehegan.
Senior Hurling Team
Our Senior Hurlers had the first round of the Championship on the 9th of July in Cusack Park.
Their opponents were a very sharp LLG and at the end of the 60 minutes, Clonkill could breath sign of relief to come out with a draw.
