Rosemount GAA notes
20 March 2017
Well done to club representatives and Grand Marshal Declan Slevin who flew the flag for the club at the St Patrick's Day Parade in Moate last Friday. Well done to all.
Gaa: Our minor team had a hard fought win over St Lomans last Sunday morning in a wet and windy lakepoint park in round 3 of the Div 1 League. A goal from Ben Cox with a minute to go gave us the advantage heading to injury time, as we went on to win on a score line of 3.04 to 1.08. Well done lads. Team:
Cathal Dolan, Tom Martin, Cathal Byrne, Ciarán Maxwell, Frank Hanevy, Liam O'Neill, Ben O'Brien, Padraig Geoghegan, Colin Boland, Aaron Nugent, Ben Cox, Lorcan Daly, Kieran Hanevy, Kevin Stone, Barry Collins. Sub used: Jordan Nugent.
Thank you to all for attending the Coffee Morning ran by Katie Lynam on St Patrick’s Day. Katie will be volunteering with 5 other medical students from NUI Galway for two months this summer in Mpongwe Mission Hospital, Zambia. The club would like to wish her the best of luck.
