Moments before that last free. Graham Reilly St Colmcilles with Rosemount's Declan Mullen during the Leinster Club IFC final at Pairc Tailteann.

Rosemount forward Declan Mullen admitted that they were punished for not taking their chances in the Leinster club IFC final defeat to Meath side St Colmcille's.

A last gasp free by Ben Brennan after Mullen had received a black card for fouling Meath star Graham Reilly won the match for the Royals' side.

Mullen had no option, but to drag down Reilly who was immense throughout the game and the Rosemount full forward singled him out for praise.

Speaking to the Westmeath Independent he said: "We had plenty of chances at the end and we missed four or five frees in the second half. Things didn't go our way.

"They didn't miss a whole lot. Fair play to them, they are a strong team, they were the better team in the first half but I thought we were the better team in the second half. It just didn't go our way in the end."

Adding about Reilly's performance, Mullen admitted: "He's unbelievable, the size and strength of him. He must have kicked four or five points. Fair play to him and we wish them all the best in the semi-final of the All-Ireland."
