Johnny Greville as Raharney manager.

Raharney manager Johnny Greville has insisted that they will be eager to make their mark in the Leinster club SHC.

The Deelsiders have experience at this level losing out to Oulart The Ballagh in a Leinster SHC semi-final only four years ago.

Greville has pointed to how Westmeath clubs have fared at provincial level in recent years as a benchmark to what they can achieve.

Raharney host Carlow champions St Mullins in the Leinster club SHC at Cusack Park on November 6th and Greville stressed to the Westmeath Examiner that they will be ready.

He said: "Clonkill have been close, Castletown-Geoghegan only lost narrowly to (eventual champions) Mount Leinster Rangers in 2013.

"This year was all about winning in Westmeath, but we are definitely not going to sit back. We are going to go at Leinster hammer and tongs."
