The under-10 panel have been busy recently. Last week they competed in a very well run Larry Nugent Tournament in Mount Temple. The team got to the Plate Final where they were defeated in heartbreaking circumstances. After finishing normal time all squared 06-06, Ballymahon took the Plate on the Golden Score rule by scoring the first point in extra time.
The Coughlan Cup saw Castledaly losing out to St Malachy's/Ballinagore 12-08 in very wet conditions Sunday morning. Well done to all involved. Well done to our Under 6 & Under 8 teams in their challenge matches against Rosemount this evening. Some fantastic skills were displayed and great fun was had by all. Under 6 & Under 8 training has now finished until the spring. Thanks to everyone for their commitment and support during the season.
Congratulations to Declan Slevin on his sporting achievements chasing his Olympic dreams in RIO. A fabulous example of how sport helps change lives, turn obstacles in to opportunities.. Declan's sporting preparations continue and we wish him the very best in all activities going forward. .
