Training                                

U8 &U10's train  @  6 - 7pm on Tuesday evenings.

U12&U14s train @ 7 - 8pm on Tuesday evenings.

 

Underage

U10 Blitz:-  On Saturday morning  our U10s were in Ringtown for a Blitz.  We had 3 very competitive games of hurling played in great spirits. A big thank you to Ringtown Hurling Club for hosting the Blitz, to all players, mentors and parents who supported the lads on the day. 

 

U12:- Well done to our U12 Team and mentors who recorded a good win over neighbours LLG on Weds 25th May in Collinstown.

U14:- Well done to our U14 Team and mentors who recorded a good win over CTG in Castlepollard on Thurs 26th May.

 

St Michaels NS                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Commisserations to St Michaels NS Team and mentors who were beaten by Raharney NS in the Div 1A Hurling Final of the Cumann na mBun Scol  and to the girls Football Team and mentors who were also beaten by Raharney  NS in the Div 3 Final of the Cumann na mBun Scol both on Tues 24th May.

 

Welcome Home

Welcome home to Gerry Rynne Mullingar Rd, who has returned to these shores having spent the last 5yrs in Austraillia. We hompe to see Gerry back in a Pollard jersey in the coming weeks.

 

Exams

Best of luck to all our players who are are currently involved in college exams and also to all who are preparing for the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert exams in the coming weeks.

 

Westmeath U21 Hurlers

Congratulations to the Westmeath U21 Hurlers and mentors who recorded a famous 2pt win over Kilkenny in Cusack Park last Weds 25th July. Pollard was represented on the night by Warren Casserly & J.Rabbitte.

 

Westmeath Senior Hurlers

Best wishes to the Westmeath Senior Hurlers and mentors who take on Galway in the Leinster SHC Quater-Finals in Cusack Park on Sunday 5th June..

 

Condolences

The club offers their sympathies to the family of Michael Carroll, Mullingar and formerly Collinstown, who died on Tuesday 24th May.  To his wife Angela, sons Peter, Michael and Richard, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends we offer our deepest sympathies, may he rest in peace.

 

Bingo

Our weekly Bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex.  There was no winner of the Main Jackpot of  €15,000 last Sunday night.  Our 2nd Jackpot of €8,300 was not won and now stands at €8,400. 

              Bonus Ball Game #1 :- lucky winner of  €100 prize was Toby Dempsey.

              Bonus Ball Game #2 :- lucky winner of  €100 prize was Bridgette McDermott.

          

Lotto Draw

Our next Lotto draw will take place at the Bingo on Sunday5th June 2016.  New Jackpot will be €11,500.
