Football nursery

Indoor football for the 5-8 year olds continues on Friday evenings at the usual time of 6:30pm. New members welcome. We are also looking to recruit new underage coaches in preparation for the new season. If you are interested in coming on board contact us through our facebook page or call us on 087-6965313. As the beginning of the underage season draws ever closer, the club will be publishing details of its underage training times, locations mentors etc over the next few weeks. Please keep a close a close eye on the local press, our facebook page and our Club App for details.

 

Club Membership 2016

It's that time of year again folks where club membership fees are due. Membership costs are €10 for under 18's, €20 for 3rd level students & OAP's, €25 for an adult and €50 for a family and can be paid to any committee member. Membership of St. Pauls GFC entitles you free use of the club grounds including our soon to be opened walkway.

 

Help needed

St. Pauls GFC are always looking for people to help out with the day to day running of the club. If you are interested in helping out the club - even if it's only an hour or so please contact the club either through our Facebook page or contact any committee member directly. The more hands on deck we have the easier it is for the club to grow & develop.

Fundraiser

Our 1st fundraiser of the year, the St. Pauls Race night will be held on March 12th in Mulvaney's Bar Clonmellon. Please see our facebook page and club app over the next few weeks for details. A great night by all was had at last year's event so it's not to be missed.

 

St. Pauls GFC mobile App.

St. Pauls GFC would like to introduce those of you who have a smart phone to "Clubify". Clubify is a free app which will bring St. Pauls GFC directly to your mobile. It allows you to get up-to-date content from the club, delivered directly to your mobile through push notifications or by interacting with the app. Going forward we'll be using the app to publish team results, club news etc.  Please download from the app store or google play - its free! Once downloaded simple search under "clubs" for St. Pauls Clonmellon and sign up. Let us know through our facebook page if you have any questions or issues.

 

Lotto

Our club lotto continues to go from strength to strength with the fantastic support of the public within the local community however we are always looking for new people to give it a go.  Club lotto envelopes can be got from any of the local shops, at Bingo on Monday nights or from any of the committee members. Lotto takes place every Monday night during bingo in the local Community Centre. The Cost is €2 a ticket. Currently the Jackpot stands at €2000.

Hard Luck

Hard luck to our Junior Mens team who narrowly missed out on promotion to Division 3 of the ACFL for 2016 when they lost out to Multyfarnham on Saturday last in LakePoint Park, Mullingar. This tough "championship-like" game was great preparation for the lads for the upcoming season and plenty of positives can be taken from their performance on the day.
