Benefit Night in aid of John Paul McQuaid.You are invited on Saturday, December 12th to Isaac's Well Clonmellon as we aim to raise as much as possible to help towards local man, John Paul McQuaid after he was involved in a horrific car accident while on holidays abroad. An auction & raffle will be held on the night, music will be provided by local artists with tickets currently on sale for €10. We are calling on everyone in our small community to make a difference. As a business we invite you to sponsor an ad in our programme, as an individual we are asking you to give whatever you can to ultimately bring J.P home.

 

Underage football

Indoor football for both boys & girls members of the club from ages 5-8 continues in the Community Centre in Clonmellon every Friday evening from 6:30 to 7:30. If your child is not a member of the club a 10 euro per child, one off payment is required that can be paid on any night to cover insurance costs. There is also a charge of 2 euro per child to be paid each night to cover the lighting & heating costs. 

There is a Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness Workshop course being ran in Brownstown Community Centre on Tues Dec 15th next from 6:30pm-9:30pm. This course is compulsory for all coaches of underage teams or anyone wanting to work with children. New Committee members needed

With a new football year only around the corner; St. Pauls GFC are looking for new members to join our committee for 2016. There is a lot of work to be done behind the scenes to keep our football club ticking over and new members would be made feel more than welcome. The level of input and time you would give the club would be determined by you - even a hour or so every fortnight would be appreciated so if you are interested in getting involved please contact any existing committee members or through our Facebook page.  

Lotto

Our club lotto continues to go from strength to strength with the fantastic support of the public within the local community however we are always looking for new people to give it a go.  Club lotto envelopes can be got from any of the local shops, at Bingo on Monday nights or from any of the committee members. Lotto takes place every Monday night during bingo in the local Community Centre. The Cost is €2 a ticket. Currently the Jackpot stands at €2000.
