1983 Intermediate Champions & Senior League Winners REUNION.

You are invited to a reunion of the 1983 Tyrrellspass team on SATURDAY 26th September from 5 pm. Meeting at WILLIE'S and then going to Old Haunts in Mullingar, Canton Casey's and Caffrey's; grub available at Caffrey's before returning to Gonoud's for Grand Finale and warm up for Westmeath SFC Semi Final. TYRRELLSPASS LADIES

Minor Girls: Our minor girls played Ballycomoyle in a home game on Thursday 27th August last. A good team performance left Tyrrellspass girls winners on a scoreline of 4-12 to 3-9. This was the final round in the division 3 minor games for Tyrrellspass so with 3 wins out of 4 it leaves us in a semi-final spot in the weeks ahead. Keep up the good work at training girls!

Under 16 girls: Our under 16 girls played at home to Goldsmith Girls on Sunday evening 30th August last. This was a good game of football with both teams working hard to gain advantage. However, Tyrrellspass pulled away in a very strong second half performance and won on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-8 points. This leaves us in a good position with 5 wins out of 5 to date and only one remaining game in the coming week to play. Well done to this very dedicated young team who hopefully can keep up this momentum.

5K Sponsored Fun Run/Walk:

Tyrrellspass underage girls will host a fundrasing 5k fun run/walk in the village on Sunday 13th September 2015 which will start at the GAA pavilion at 11.30 a.m. All the players will participate on the day and we hope families, neighbours and friends can all come out and support them and join in the fun so keep this date for your diaries!

There was no winner of last weekends lotto jackpot of €12,800. Numbers drawn were 5,13,16 and 27. The following people matched three numbers and each receive €70. Cathal Daly pro Brendan Daly , Sean Hyland pro John Hyland and Lilly Mcloughlin pro Amber . Promoters prize went to Paul Molloy . Next weeks jackpot will be €13,000.
