Championship
We played St Marys in TubberclaIr last Wednesday evening and even though we were down to the bare bones we still grinded out the result beating St Mary's on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-6. The strength in depth really came to the fore this week. Declan Mullen had an excellent first half and Damien Carroll put in another flawless shift in the corner back position and gets the nod here.
Team, Eoin Carberry, Damian Carroll, Luke Kelly, Shane Tone, Damian Boland, Andrew McCormack, Dylan Hassett, Declan Mullen, T.J Fox, David Malynn, Dan Boland, David Fox, Richard O Brien, David Tone, Boidu Sayeh
Subs Used, Padraig Fox, Enda Boland, Stephen Darcy, and Patrick Keenan.
We then played Balinagore on the following Sunday in Milltown. We started very well and scored 2 goals in the first few minutes setting us up nicely. From there we went on and saw out the victory despite Balinagores efforts and only for a collection of Eoin Carberry saves this might have bein a lot closer. It has to be said there was some lovely point taking on show from both sides with substitute Dan Digans long range outside of the left in the latter stages the pick of the bunch to leave the final score 3-11 to 0-8. Damien Carroll stood out again as did Luke Kelly and Andrew McCormack continued his good run of form. Man of the match Eoin Carberry was exceptional between the sticks and made numerous crucial saves at crucial times and was on the money with his kickouts for the full hour.

Thanks again to all who helped out last Saturday in the park for the double header. This is a very important part of any club and can sometimes go unnoticed so once again we are very grateful for your help.

New Website
We decided that a new responsive design was needed to enable you to view the website on Tablets & Mobile phones as well as computers. We are still in the process of adding features so please bear with us over the next few weeks. One big difference from the old website apart from the responsive design is that we will no longer leave old news on a page because this would mean too much scrolling on tablets & phones. We are also excited to announce a new Rosemount App which will be available to download for free within the next month, more details to follow.
Race Night
We will be hosting a race night on the 29th of August in the Stile Bar, for details on how to sponsor or buy tickets for horses, jockeys or owners etc please contact any player or committee member
