Condolences.

St. Pauls GFC Clonmellon and its members would like to offer its sincere condolences to the Reilly Family Archerstown on the untimely passing of Sinead Reilly. Sinead was well known in the Archerstown-Clonmellon area and her passing will be felt by many both near and far. May she rest in peace

The club would also like to offer its condolences to the O'Neill family Delvin and Castletown, Navan on their recent bereavement.

 

Juvenile Football.

St. Pauls U-8's and U-10's news.

St. Pauls will play in an Under 10 football blitz on Tuesday evening July 7th at 7pm. All players to be there for 6:45pm.

Our Under 8's will be taking part in a blitz on Friday July 10th. More details will be sent out to parents later in the week.

St. Ernan's Juvenile football news

Our Under 12's have training on Tuesday and Thursday evening this week in Clonmellon at 7pm.

Our Under 14's have training on Tuesday in Delvin at 7pm and possibly a game on Thursday evening. Confirmation of game will be given at training on Tuesday night.

Our Under 16's and Minors have training also on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8pm in Clonmellon.

Ladies Football update

A busy week ahead for our girls teams. Our junior girls play St. Josephs in St. Josephs on Tuesday July 7th. Our under 12's take on Rochfortbridge on Thursday July 9th in Clonmellon. Our Under 16 girls take on Tyrellspass on Friday July 10th also in Clonmellon. All of the above game have a throw-in time of 7pm

Hard luck to our U-14 girls team who were beaten by St. Josephs last Thursday. The team that lined out for St. Pauls/Delvin on the day was: Katie Moore, Alana Kelly, Amber Moore, Aoife Cannon, Leah O' Brien, Saoirse Reddington, Sinead Forde, Eimer Sherwin, Sarah O'Farrell, Susan Dolan, Shannon Fenlon, Nicola Fenlon, Aoibhe Reilly, Aimee Henry, Becky Harte, Aoife Coonan. A big thank you to the two coaches; Karen Larkin and Hannah Ivory.

St. Pauls Summer Camp

The St. Paul's Kids football Summer camp kicked off last week and will run for the months of July & August, every Tuesday & Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon; kids will learn the basic skills of Gaelic Football from fully qualified coaches in a safe and fun filled environment and all for just 1 euro per child per day. The club will be supplying teas & coffees on a "help yourself" basis from this week going forward to any parents/guardians/child minders who want to stay around for the 2 hours. A big thanks to the coaches who are giving up their time to support the camp.

The club would like to thank all those who helped out with the renovation work that was carried out on our football pitch over the last few Saturdays. The place has never been looking so good!

 

St. Pauls GFC Sports Quiz.

St. Pauls GFC will hold their re-arranged sports quiz next Friday night, July 10th in Mulvaney's bar Clonmellon at 9:30pm. All monies raised goes directly back into our club so all teams will benefit; young and old, girls and boys so please come along on the night and support. We promise you you'll enjoy it!

Club Lotto.

Our club lotto continues to go from strength to strength with the fantastic support of the public within the local community however we are always looking for new people to give it a go.  Club lotto envelopes can be got from any of the local shops, at Bingo on Monday nights or from any of the committee members. Lotto takes place every Monday night during bingo in the local Community Centre. The Cost is €2 a ticket. Currently the Jackpot stands at €1700. There was no winner of last week's jackpot where the numbers pulled were 12,15,18,28. 20 euro winners on the night included Ann Clinton, Vera Connell, and Elizabeth Matthews.
