Castledaly GAA & Fit Club Fundraiser for CONSOLE was another great success and massive thank you to everyone who contributed to that success and supported our efforts.
Congrats to everyone and especially our Mens 5K winners Russell Casey   21:36 Niall Duffy 21:59 and Sean Connell 22:10
Ladies 5K winners were Edel Fogarty 22:27 Julie Maguire 22:49 and Sinead Doyle 25:02.
Our 10K race was won by Noel    Kelly   35:06     Derek   Stenson 38:23 Basil   Cronin  41:32 & Roisin  Farragher  41:14 Carmel  Hughes 43:22 Breda Duffy 45:36

Senior B Castledaly played competitive challenge match against St Mary's of Granard Longford last week and would like to thank the visiting club for their sportsmanlike and challenging match.  We wish them well for the year ahead.

GAA Lotto Draw lucky numbers were 06. 10. 13. 21. There was no Match four winner.  Congratulations to our Match Three winners. Eamon Grennan, Siobhan Finneran, John McDonald, Richard and Carmel Dolan, Sheila Sheehy, Our promoters prize winner was Una Dolan. The next draw in two weeks 12.7.15 with jackpot €11,400. Thanks to everyone fr their
support.

Congrats to Paddy Holloway and Alan Stone and the entire Westmeath Senior Footballers squad with their victory over neighbouring coutny Meath and continueing their exciting and entertaining campaign in the Leinster competition.  The game was a classic example of how hard work and never giving up can achieve what seems impossible (to us so called

Castledaly Fit Club continues Tuesdays and Fridays 7pm Junior Fit Club continues with fun exercise activities for ages 6 to 16. Contact Paulette Heavin for info.

LAst Friday night Team Training fundraiser Pub Quiz in P. Egan's was a wonderful success and well supportered by the local community.  Well done to all players who made the event happen, to all the supporters and sponsors for an incredible number of prizes. and to the two winning teams who generously donated prizes back to the fund.
Thanks also to quizmaster John McAuley who ran proceedings with his usual fun and experienced style.  Go raibh Mile Mile maith agaibh go leir.

Tidy Towns competition judging takes place in weeks ahead and everyone is asked to do their part for their local community by tidying around where they can.  Castledaly Development Committee have been continuing their hard work tidying public areas around Castledaly community and maintain it as a beautiful attraction for residents and travelling tourists alike. Please help and tidy where necessary to keep your local community a wonderful place to visit and  live.
