Westmeath's disappointment at losing to Laois was compounded by late red cards for Robbie Greville and Shane Power.

Wing forward Greville's straight red card means he will miss the Lake County's Leinster SHC quarter-final against Wexford in Cusack Park on June 7. Corner back Power will be available for that game after picking up two yellows in the 1-17 to 1-20 defeat at O'Moore Park.

Brendan Murtagh's participation in the Wexford game is also in doubt after the experienced full forward was forced to retire injured today.
