Underage Training
U10s train on Tuesday evenings @ 7pm . U12/U14s train on Tuesday evenings @ 7pm and on Saturday evenings from 5-6pm. All new members welcome.
Underage Fixtures
Our U10s took part in an U10 Blitz in Cusack Park on Thursday 9th April with games vs Clonkill and Cullion. Well done to all involved.
Our U12 Team and metors had a great win on Weds 8th April vs St Earnans in Castlepollard on a scoreline of 10-11 to 0-0.
Our U14 Team and mentors had a great win on Thurs 9th April vs Fr. Daltons in Ballymore on a scoreline of 6-07 to 0-04.
U10 Blitz in St Oliver Plunketts on Sat 18th April @10am, please meet at the pitch at 9.40am.
Membership
Membership for 2015 is now over due : €30 for adults, €50 family, €20 for OAPs, and €10 for minors and younger. Players whose membership is not up to date are not insured to train or play with the club. Payments can be made to any of the club officers.
Senior League
Our Senior hurlers played Erin's Own of Carlow in Castlepollard in the Leinster League on Sunday last. They recorded a very convincing win on a scoreline of Pollard 1-14 to 1-07. Derek Murray opened the scoring for Pollard with a well taken point after 2 mins. The Pollard defence were caught off guard for an early goal after 5mins, but tightened up after this with the Pollard Goal never under any further serious threat to the final whistle.Pollard with wind assistance dominated the first half and took a well deserved 0-09 to 0-04 half time lead with the scores comming from the superb Derek Murray(0-02) , Alan Devine (0-2) one from a free and the other from play following a neat Darren McCormack pass. Paul Dermody chipped in with a lovely score on 20mins following a great catch , solo and strike on the run. Michael Murray(0-02) was deadly accurate from placed balls bringing the first half to a close. Pollard started brightly in the 2nd half scoring 1-02 without reply, with Full foward JP Murray scoring 1-01, with the goal comming from and overhead strike following a long delivery from his brother Derek. M.Murray scored the other point following some great inter play between Paul Dermody and Alan Devine. Erin's Own, with the wind at there backs then scored 0-05 points on the trot, from distance. Pollard finished strongly however scoring 0-03 points without reply. With the scores comming from the hard working Kevin Brazil , Michael Murray and Alan Devine with Devines score comming after some sterling work in defence from McCormack, Gallagher and Higgins.

Bingo
Our weekly Bingo continues every Sunday night at 8.30pm in the Hurling Complex. There was no winner of the Main Jackpot of €15,000 last Sunday night. Our 2nd Jackpot of €2,400 was not won and now stands at €2,500.
Lotto Draw
Our Lotto Draw took place during Bingo on Sunday night last . The numbers drawn were :- 3,5,20,23.
There was no jackpot winner. The 6 x €25 winners were:

We wish a speedy recovery to Ned Flynn and U8 hurler Adam Moore, both of whom are hospitalised at the moment.
