Team News
Training continues on Tuesday and Friday nights at 8pm. We need to keep the numbers up at training. We are not due out in the league next weekend but we expect both teams to be in action the following weekend. We want to say a big thank you to Paddy, Alva and Myles for the veritable feast they provided at the BBQ in Mahons last Saturday night. Thanks also to Tubber GAA for hosting us last Saturday in their very impressive grounds and facilities.
U16 Football League Division 2
St. Malachy's/Ballinagore 6-04 Millmore Gaels 1-09
Well done to our U16 team who opened their league campaign with a great win over a spirited Millmore Gaels side last Wednesday evening in Ballinagore. Goals win games and six majors this evening ensured a comfortable win for us. Well done lads, a great start!!
Underage Fixtures
U16 vs Shannon Gaels on Monday 13th at 18:30 away.
U14 vs Kilbeggan/St. Josephs on Monday 13th at 18:45 in Streamstown.
U14 vs Athlone on Thursday 16th at 18:30 in Ballinagore.
Ballinagore Meet & Train
Our Meet & Train Programme got off to a flyer last Tuesday evening with over thirty turning up on a gloriously sunny evening in the park. Our instructor, Sarah, was just brilliant and very enthusiastic. Everyone enjoyed themselves while working up a sweat! Come along on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm to join in!
Rounders
Training takes place on Monday at 8pm in Pairc an Bhodhráin. Games will be commencing over the next two weeks and our first fixture will be announced shortly. Rounders is a highly enjoyable game and is suitable for most people of moderate to good fitness. Ballinagore enter a mixed team so there is room for both men and women on our panel!
