St. Pauls underage Easter camp.

A special word of thanks to the following coaches who's valuable contribution made the St. Pauls Easter football camp such a success:

St. Pauls GFC Clothes drive

St. Paul's want all your old clothes, old shoes (pairs only) and old handbags. Please bring any of the above in black bin liner bags to Clonmellon Football pitch any Sat morning from 10 am - 11:30 am during the month of April and St. Paul's will take them off your hands. If you are not in a position to come to the pitch on Saturday mornings please contact any committee member or message us here on Facebook and we will arrange for them to be collected. Please note that clothes/shoes/handbags must be in separate bin liner bags.

 

Adult Men's football.

Training continues this Tuesday evening at 8pm in Archerstown. All players are urged to attend as there is plenty of work to be done before the championship kicks off in a few weeks.  As always new players are welcome.

Ladies Football.

Hard luck to our U-16 ladies football team who lost out to Shandonagh on a score line of Shandonagh 7-6 St. Pauls/Delvin 6-5. Well done again girls on the performance!

 

Underage football.

Training has resumed for all players (both girls and boys) for age grades U-8, U-10 and U-12 at the pitch in Clonmellon on Saturday mornings from 10am to 11:30am. All parents should ensure that all children attending  wear gum shields. St. Paul's are also looking for parents to lend a hand with training, even if it's just laying out a few cones or collecting the footballs & bibs afterwards, the help would be very much appreciated and don't worry, a knowledge of Gaelic Football is not required.

Our u10's performed very well in the go games tournament in Cusack Park last week with games against Ballinacargy and Shandonagh. Our team on the day was:
Conor Muldoon, Sean Mulvanny, Callum Briody, Seamus Reilly Jr, Ryan Flynn, Rory Carolan, Darragh Reilly, Aaron O Brien, Rylan Briody, Cormac Tormey and Eanna Kiernan.

The beginning of the U-10 football league has been pushed back 2 weeks. Therefore the 1st round will now be on 28th April, round 2 will be 12th May etc.......

There is U-8 and U-10 training on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Clonmellon. The U-8 blitz is in Killucan next sat, be there for 10.30 to start at 11 sharp, there will be 2 games, not sure if opposition, but our group is Killucan,Delvin, Coralstown/Kinnegad, Ballycomoyle and Inny Shamrocks .

Registration is now due for all underage players. Registration fees are vitally important to ensure your child is fully insured while training or playing for St. Pauls GFC. Because of this, any child who is not registered and has not paid their registration in full unfortunately cannot take part in any of the clubs activities. So please parents, ensure your child is registered by coming to the pitch on Saturday morning to pay.

After the success of our Girley Bog walk on Easter Monday last; St. Pauls GFC are pleased to announce that they will be holding another walk on the June Bank holiday Monday. More details closer to the time.

 

Congratulations.

Congratulations to all the local Class Act stage school kids on qualifying for the semi-finals of the mini tops competition on Saturday night from all at St. Pauls GFC. Next Sat April 18th in Clonmellon Community Centre, there will be a Tea ,coffee and cake sale to help raise money for more costumes etc. Please support on the day.

Well done to the O'Neill family, Delvin on their successful fund raising night that was held last Friday night in the Blue Hackle, Delvin in aid of Crumlin Childrens Hospital and the Ronald McDonald house.

 

Club Lotto.

Our club lotto continues to go from strength to strength with the fantastic support of the public within the local community however we are always looking for new people to give it a go.  Club lotto envelopes can be got from any of the local shops, at Bingo on Monday nights or from any of the committee members. Lotto takes place every Monday night during bingo in the local Community Centre. The Cost is €2 a ticket. Currently the Jackpot stands at €1700. Last week's winning numbers were 14,18,20 and 28 and there was no winner of the jackpot. €20 euro winners on the night included Regina Woods, Liz Martin and Kitty Dolan - Well done to all.
