Castledaly game plan was severely tested by injuries in first few
minutes to Pat Marsh and Rob Finnerty.  The introduction of subs Conor
Foley and Mark Kearney and a change of formation did elicit a first
half score of six points via Niall O Neill, Conor Foley, David Stone
(fk), MJ Kelly, and Darragh Kelly (2). In reply St Paul's scored 2-06
as the visitors provided a severe test for Castledaly's young
defensive ensemble Shane Fitzpatrick, Shane Dolan, Paul Henson, Rob &
Tom Finnerty. Castledaly added 1-04 in the second half with a quick
goal by O'Neill before he added two points, while Conor Foley also
added two.  St Paul's however were up for the task and replied with
1-09 to run out worthy winners.  Castledaly showed many positives
while also await return of additional players to strengthen their
cause.
