The Westmeath GAA board have revealed that income has increased in the county.
The main reason for this is believed to be a rise in gate receipts, which have increased by as much as €36,000 from 2013.
Westmeath County Board chairman Sean Sheridan states to the Westmeath Topic that the new ticketing system in the county has helped in the rise of gate receipts.
"The new ticket system we have in place for games has proven a success," said Sheridan. "It has been difficult for some people to get used too, but there is a need for patience.
"This system is the way forward and in future years, Westmeath will have to implement it at every ground in the county."
