Multyfarnham club notes

December 15, 2014

Annual Legends Game
This will be the second annual Multyfarnham GAA legends game and is set to take place on St. Stephen's Day in Multyfarnam.
Two teams will square off in maroon vs. white with past, present and future players.

Anyone that was at the event last year will tell you that it was a very entertaining game with John Orme scoring a diving header from 30 yards and Mick Feerick scoring points from all angles.

There will be refreshments on the day and the Multyfarnham GAA draw will take place after the game.

All players past and present are very welcome to take part. Everyone will get a run and there will be unlimited rolling subs. €5 Admission at the gate.

Christmas Bag Packing
Folks, we are looking for volunteers to help with the bag packing this year in Dunnes Stores. The days are Mon 22nd, Tues 23rd and Wed 24th. The time slots are 9am to 1pm, 1pm to 5pm and 5pm to 9pm (except on Xmas Eve, of course!) Anybody who can spare a few hours to help out the club are asked to get in contact with Gary Loughrey, David Mullaniff, Kenny Tully or Sean Kelly. Just a few hours with everybody helping could make a huge difference.

Country Fair
Thanks to everyone who helped out today at the Country Fair in the Hall. Lots of tickets for the Christmas draw were sold. The draw will take place on St. Stephens Day after the Legends Game.

Kids Disco
On Sunday 21st we will host a kids disco in the community centre from 4pm to 6.30pm - Free admission.

Sympathy
The club would like to extend our sympathy to Dermot Hogan and family on the passing of his mother Patricia Hogan.
