TEAM MANAGER APPOINTMENT 

Congratulations to Club stalwart Kevin Hickey on his appointment as Male Adult teams manager. We wish him well in fulfilling the club's potential for silverware over the next 3 years. Kevin has played for us in all grades of football over the past 3 decades. He played full back in the Westmeath team that won the 1994 All Ireland minor Championship. His committment to our cause has been unfaltering and deserves all the support that our community can muster. He teaches at St Finian's College, Mullingar.

Motions passed

It was agreed to engage an individual from outside the club to formulate a strategy / working document to guide the club forward for the next 5 years.

The club executive is to formulate a positive mental health policy to promote Positive Mental Health and wellbeing of our members and appoint a suitable officer.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Under this heading there were a number of very good ideas put forward for consideration by the incoming executive. These included the provision of First Aid Courses, formulation of a plan on pitch development and floodlighting,  installation of new goalposts, invitations from the floor for appointments to the first team management , attendance of physiotherapist at ladies games, Greater effort on sales of Lotto tickets, publish list of paid up members.

CONGRATULATIONS

Well done to Stephen "Dote" Hickey on ataining the ripe old age of 30. Where do the years go to Dote?

SUCCESSFUL SANTA VISIT

We must extend a great big thank you to all the people who were involved in bringing the great man himself to the clubhouse last weekend. It was a great occasion, enjoyed by all who were in attendance. Well done.
